Yes they are! I have been using the At 94809's which are super fast, super precise, perfect centering, and way more torque than the HS 65 MG's. I know someone using the Savox and they are about $10 less, have alluminum case, and are WAAAAY more torque than either of the others. They also slip right into the HS 65 mounting hole.

I personally think the HS 82's are junk, and the 85's do not center well at all. I have a 48" plane by another company that has somewhere around 85 degrees throw in the elevator and it weighs somewhere around 50 ounces. You can imagine the rediculous amount of force that puts on the elevator when jerked around. Lots are using the 85's on the elevator, but I found that to be unsatisfactory because it would not stay in trim Pitch Wise. The 94809's are awesome in that arena and they are just soooo much more precise. I have not used the Savox but have seen them and they appear to be as good and probably better for less money

Yeah... Lets see the cowl. MXS?

It looks like they tried to copy this plane.

They moved to canopy back a little and made the cord of the wing longer to reduce wing loading.
I have owned PAs MX, Addiction, and 260. NONE of them will ever tumble like a 3DHS, or an Extreme Flight plane.

PAs planes are to light for that. They are floaters, thats all. Will they go fast... sure will. Tumble, nope.

My 2 cents.

For real dood? I am seeing marked differences in these planes. I could compare any number of 3D birds out there and find way more similarities than I see between these two.

I don't know about you Dan, But I am trying to imagine how different this will be... Just imagine the PA light weight and how well they 3d, with MX type of power and the fast tumbling... I am really excited. BEst looking too! I think it is the best design so far!

Yes i'm super excited about this too!!!!!! Definately going to keep you guys updated on all the happenings at SEFF!!! first priority is tons of video and pictures!!

One thing i can tell you is that i was talking with Shaun today and he was telling me that during his testing, this airplane tumbles tighter and harder than the AMR!!!! he will post a flight report later!
