Neat video and airplane, but I had to turn off my speakers to avoid the awful noise coming out them. I guess that's a sign of old age. It also brings to mind a story I read few years ago about lawyers going into places of business, hearing music that was not paid for (copyright laws) and suing the establishment owners and winning. I don't know the details of how the music in any of these airplane advertisements (through out RCG) is procured but It could end up in a lawsuit if there is no permission. I'm not picking on anyone as I see it through out the industry I'd just hate some airplane company sued out of business. I guess that's a sign of living in a pro sue culture.

I just recently go a bandit and I have seen where some people have been having problems with the servos that come with the kit. I was wondering if anyone else is using different servos and what they are using. I would like to put some nice digital servos on the bandit but have had a hard time finding something that puts out the same torque to weight ratio.

I'm using Hyperion DS11AMB's I believe they are, and they work a treat.

I (and many on here) use the Hitec HS-85MG, analog but works well. A few people on this thread have reported problems with the digital version (HS-5085MG). A couple of people have reported success with Savox but I couldn't tell you the model.

The HS85MG is too big for the Bandit and is more suited to the Extra MX / Addiction X / Katana MX, the right hitec servo for the bandit is the HS65MG or 5065MG.

Can anyone tell me whether my Hyperion ZS 3020 10-Turn 922Kv would go well for the Bandit?

Looks like it will fit fine and have great power. I was going to say it looks a bit heavy, but I think their listed weight might include the prop adaptor if so the motor itself isn't too bad weight wise.

Just weighed the motor, 158.8 gr. So it's only 18.8 gr heavier than the Thrust 40.

But you say it will have great power, that's the most important thing.
