Back again, long time no hear. Seem to me that all these jet Threads are are dying off. Magic day today for flying after some slight mods to my foamy turbine, shortening my nose probe and instead adding more lead to the nose, enjoy, Joe.

Since I built this model I have done only 25 flights with it, mainly due to the crappy weather we are experiencing last few years. Not the best model for windy conditions with it's very light wing loading. I found it pretty stable in calm but recently flying it at "Jets over Fraser Coast" in the windiest conditions I started to wonder why it rocks the wings during flight. Someone even suggested why I don't install gyro on AIL.
Yesterday I was going to cut out few inches from the w/tips and fit little winglets to see if it makes any difference and I while looking closer at my Elevons I just realized what a crappy job I have done with my Trialing Edges on both controls. 7-8mm sharp cut on the ends! so no wonder it must have been creating some turbulance causing wings to rock.
Easy fix by installing balsa TE and slightly enlarging my controls and hoping for some solid performance next flight, Joe.

Nice model, the plane doesn't look too bad either

I would never have imagined a turbine powered foamie was possible, well done!

Sorry, I don't use any plans, I build them as I go, each model is somewhat different, Joe.

Another great flying day today with the foamy turbine at the local field to let the members smell bit of kero, forgot about the video, next time, J.
