Here's an old video that got dropped with the creation of the new video gallery. I thought people might still enjoy it.

This is a Guillow's static display model converted to 40mm EDF. In this video it has been fitted with a Medusa 12mm brushless. 380 3S li-po. Five minute flights.

Thanks. It's necessary since it doesn't have retractable landing gear like the plane in your avatar!

i think someone forgot to tell the plane it was static!

you have plans for launcher by any chance all my pusher jets could use that bad! looks like a modded wrist rocket

I don't have any plans. You should be able to see how I did it from the photos. I've added legs and a foot operated trigger to it now so it operates off the ground.

Maybe I should start a thread.

I think a cross bow design would have too violent of an acceleration spike. This thing is bad enough as it is.

I got another good laugh out of rfg06's avatar. It has to be my favorite.

Lance I am about to start flying a Guilows F-15 running 2 30mm fans in the next several weeks; could you direct me to some pictures of your launcher?

It has been since converted to a ground launcher. The launches are more consistant but I do miss the extra five feet of altitude of the hand held version.
