Question about my Fatshark goggles and headtracker

I have a W-Tracker coming this week and Im trying to figure out how to power it from my goggles. My Fatshark base goggles dont have a power jack on the side like the aviator version. I have been using the main cable and a 2S lipo for power. Am I going to need another battery strapped to my head?

This is how the W-tracker connects to the aviator version.

I got this thing hooked up today and it seems very glitchy. It starts to work great then suddenly the servos will just freeze up for a second. Ive been through the manual and tried all three sensitivity settings. I cant really seem to find much info about it. Does anyone else have this headtracker?
