I have not been entirely idle and have done some more work on the instrument panel. It only remains to make a few more knobs and levers to complete and paint the knee pads when I recieve from James samples of the leather and carpet to mix the correct colours.
.We are on track to paint the top coat of the main body colour of the model tomorrow morning.

Had abit of a disaster last weekend, a flood in the bathroom came through to the middle of my lounge. I need a new ceiling, new carpets and decorating which rather delayed the model.
However Doug and I completed the spraying of the secondary colour today and a I have done a couple of quick pictures to show.it requires now a red stripe and red flashes on the fuz, wingtips spats and fin and then the registration lettering vitually complete the exterior.

Stunning is the only word I can think of. True craftsmanship. I can't wait to see flying videos. I bet she behaves just like the full scale.

We hooked up the linkages for the ailerons and flaps and as usual we had to put it together for a better look.

That panel is amazing, as is the rest of the plane. Are the Seven segment number displays on the panel lit or is that just the way the ambient light was hitting it ?

That part of the panel is a bit of a cheat using photographs taken from the rear seat during a flight, they are the best that I have to date.
I hope to get some better pictures when we get together with the full size in the near future amd I will improve the panel then.

from the pics it is very convincing, but now that you mention its a print i can kinda tell. Still looks awesome though, Fantastic job.

The major external paintwork and trim is now completed, all that remains is quite a number of stickers to have made and attach. ie:- no step no push etc etc.
All the control surfaces are completed and all programme mixes set up.
The next major job then is to glaze the cabin and fit out the interior to match the full size,
We hope to have it ready for Charleton Park mid next month.It may not have the passengers completed and fully clothed but we shall see.

WOW !!! Keith.... I don't know if you plan to enter this work of art into a contest but you should seriously think about it!! fantastic job hope she flies as well as she looks and good luck with the maiden flight.
