Whoaaaaaa Bud! That was a close one eh? Glad your still alive! That must have been a sickening feeling to have your driving vision blocked out so unexpectedly.
I know when I pass semi trucks head on, in the snow and they blind my view for a second or two, it makes me start to panick for an instant.

Again I am glad your OK, we couldn't get by on this thread without you! Who would keep jerks like Mike in their place? LOL JK Mikey!

Take er easy for a day or two Bro!

I had a chance to look at the van today, WOW I do not remember that it was that severe, but then again I must have been quite dazed!

You weren't "dazed." You were in shock my Friend. Now I really can't believe my eyes. You should take Rob's advise and contact the media. I think this is more widespread than you think. It still amazes me how you and Gerda got out of this alive.

Hows "Rocky Raccoon" doing today? I hope you and Gerda are doing better,,..especially you Bud. In Mass. it's only a $50.00 fine for having snow on the roof of a vehicle. Yup, sad but true. Of course this law won't change until there is a death caused by such a thing.

Now, take our neighbors to the north of us in New Hampshire. It's a $250 to $500.00 for the first offense. The second offence will cost you a cool $1000.00. That's the way it should be but, as usual Mass. has their heads where the sun don't shine. That's why this state is referred to as "Massholes." I kid you not

Rocky's mask is starting to fade and the headaches are settling down.

My daughter asked the police officer about snow removal laws, here in Ontario it is only against the law for windows/windshields to be obstructed by snow. Carrying snow on the roof of the vehicle is not against the law, CRAZY!

It will cost my insurance $4600 to have the damage repaired and it will take 3 days once the parts come in.

You would think living in a very snowy region there would be laws pertaining to this. IMHO, your case would be a perfect example to put such laws in place to protect other drivers. I would contact one of the "Big Wheels" sitting in office and let him/her know that you and the wife were almost killed. Show them the pics of your vehicle and your face. One thing for sure, I would not let this go by without notice. Dang, call the media to put a spot light on this. Sounds like the people up there are just as ignorant as people in "Masshole."

I knew it would lift your spirits. It's the same stance I take just before liftoff. So you did notice the resemblance
