Remember I was waiting on a card reader? I went to do the fix and then noticed they didn't have the fix for my operating system. Went up to "Windows XP" but no "Windows 7"....AARRGG. So, I have to keep a close eye on the batt voltage because it'll drop about half way in about a week....AARRGG AGAIN

Quite often the XP fix will work with Windows 7. Google your camera fix in regards to Windows 7, I am sure someone has overcome this somehow.

What with the technology on these cameras changing so fast and the prices dropping at this time of the year I would be tempted to look for a new camera to avoid this aggravation.


Canon has some really nice Digital Elph cameras out that work really nice in low light conditions. I have one of them myself.

I did try looking for a Windows 7 fix to no avail. I may take it in to be looked at...dunno. What model Cannon and how much?

I was in a store yesterday. I think it was called "FREDS". They had a all in one, or, 7in1 card reader there for sale. Don't know how much it was, but, wasn't more than $10-$25. Maybe that would help ya Mike. Sorry our teams didn't meet in the big game. Yea, see ya there next year. Hope.

Lee, I have the card reader already. In fact they gave it to me for nothing because they screwed up my order. My camera keeps sucking the juice out of the battery. I thought the fix would help but there is no fix for my OS (Windows 7). The fix was actually to stop the camera from "over charging" the batt. Oh well.

Well Guys, Miss Patti and I were quite busy today stocking up a bit and prepping for the storm. There's plenty of food and adult drinks so, we'er good to go. Heck, only gonna be 20 inches We lived through the blizzard of '78. I had to walk 2 miles in waist deep snow just to find a store that sold beer. Got the last six pack. It was up hill both ways

Heard about this storm coming at ya. I was in upper state NY one year when a blizzard hit. Three feet of snow!!! Wasn't the white stuff that got to me, but the temp. -60*F windchill is just too dang brrrrrrrrr for me. Glad you learned in the military to get your can good stocked up for it. Canned beer. ahahahahahahahaha.
