RC stuff is also quite expensive here in the Netherlands. A chopper that sells for 60 dollar in the USA, would cost 90 euros here...

Something else, I uploaded a vid of my little SAR boat today:

Ok maybe I can get a reply here....

My S033G has been nothing but fun to fly.

I have one question though.

I finally broke a main rotor blade and replaced it. However it flys fine but there is much vibration on the top endof the main rotor shaft.
Vibration not good...smooth good
I'm thinking that either I have a bent main rotor shaft or the mains must be replaced as a set.

Please advise any insight.....thank YOU!

Welcome nol. I'm not familiar with your heli but, I'll take a stab at it. Yes, it's possible you bent an inner or outer shaft. At worst both but, that would take a very hard hit to damage both shafts. First remove your top set of blades and inspect the head for cracks and such. If it looks ok, now remove the bottom set of blades AND.. (also, all your blade grips if it's not a PITA). Spin it up your heli and watch the shafts spin at different RPM's. If you see wobbling at the tip top, chances are you have a bent inner shaft.
Just my 2 cents...

Mike.

I will take a stab at it too. Your blades are out of balance. Lee

You replaced one blade? That may be the problem, they should be replaced in pairs if possible. Also check to see if both blades are tightened the same, just loose enough to move freely but not too lose.

Good luck.

Hey all. This is a little off topic (first time on this thread...I know...) but if any of you are the praying type, I could use a couple for my daughter tonight. We found out today that she has a skull fracture and subdural hematoma (bleeding in her brain) and her and my wife were flown to Children's Hospital in Denver. I am staying with our boys tonight and then driving up tomorrow. Not sure what the next few days hold.

Thanks,
Ethan

Ethan, You've come to the right place. This is almost like a sanctuary at times. Lots of praying people here. I'll start praying for you right now.

Ethan, You have my Prayers and I will be thinking of you all. Your little girl will be fine. She will be up and running around in no time. God speed and be careful driving in the state of mind you are in.

Mike.

Thanks guys! They are releasing her this morning. The hematoma was pretty big, probably would have taken out most of us, but apparently she has a tough little brain. They should be back home this afternoon.

Thanks for all the prayers!

Ethan

That is great news Bud. I am so happy for you all. I knew in my heart she would be fine. Little ones are very tough and resilient but, TBI's can be very scary too.
