Just looking at it, I would say it's their version of the RMILEC OSD which used to be $9... but now more...

i use the RCmilec and would have to say they are great for what they do. at $13 they are worth it. $23 with postage not so much.

I use them on my fpv parkflyer. Since I am not going more than 1 km away (most of the time within 500m range) I don't need a larger osd. If you don't have one then I would pick one up as they are great for the small planes.

So i think that I'm going to ask a really dumb question here... If there are two pins for the battery inputs, how doyou wire everyhting up? You dont send your main discharge wires through it, right? I'm not-so-new to FPV, but am new to OSDs. Can I see a diagram or explanation please? Haha, i feel like an idiot asking this becasue I'm sure theres a very simple answer.

This system only measures voltage, not amp draw.
Each battery input has a + and - connection. You wire both + and - to it in PARALLEL with your video gear.

I have one on a FPV slow stick, I power motor and video with the main battery. Power goes through an LC filter to the camera, transmitter, and OSD (#1). Video is paralleled from camera out to OSD. I don't use the #2 voltage on this plane.

So simple a caveman can do it...

Hobbyking seems to have changed their 'new items' page. No all items the add to the site are shown anymore. Only one category at the time is shown (planes, heli's, boats or cars). Even when you go through all these categories you won't see this product listed.
