This thing looks fantastic! Just hoping it's not one of those Chinese built jobs where the gear is all crap and ya get no product support.

That's the only thing fearing me about this one. I see so many threads of HobbyKing, Nitroplanes, and Banana Hobby planes where guys have to make a ton of mods before it's flight worthy.

They definitely got this one looking REALLY nice. Anymore word on when it's expected?

You know it's going to be Chinese made, sold to the companies mentioned in your post, and guys are going to have make a ton of mods...

1) I have purchased from Hobby King and its been fantastic
2)mods are based "typically " on eiter scale equity (this plane wont need much ) or simple flight wortheyness . I know the $299 F16 on Hobby King site needed a ton of fixes , fan blade were so out of balance they would explode on take off , but if your buying a jet and you dont balance your fan , then you lack the experince to fly a ducted fan vector flight jet .
3)many arfs are not for biggeners , there is a post about the FMS corsair retracts not being crash friends lol , show me retracts that are crash friendly , I have $300 sierra retracts in my fuel warbirds that are not crash friendly lol .
So before we bash this plane with typical urban legend , I think the original format appearance in the pics make it one of the best scale P40 ARFs I have seen ,
I am really glad the bar keeps getting higher .
I only hope its distributed via Hobby King vs BH in the states , I even settle for Nitro Planes , I have had good servace from them even with my crushed UPS boxes lol

Thank you for the concern about this product.
Now we are trying to test electronic equipment.
To ensure stability and reliability of this product.
Huge size of the EPO is a huge challenge.
The same for me is a huge challenge.

Welllllll if FMS birds are 4 cell, than this would probably be 5, but since I don't have any 5's.... it's gonna be a 6! (I have lots of matched 3's!)

I am new to the hobby. Been flying for about 3 months pretty regularly. I have a couple of questions:
Would this plane be OK for someone with beginner flying skills? I would be able to have a buddy of mine to maiden and help me out the first couple of flights.
About how much would a plane like this cost, receiver ready?

We're all waiting for an actual price at this point.
Not knowing how far you progressed in 3 months I would say go with a buddy box if you gotta have a low wing warbird. TW

This looks fantastic... With the wing design I might even be able to fit it in my car too!

I can't see why a 6 wouldn't work in this thing. If a PZ T-28 can fly with a 4000mah 4s then this should easily handle a 6s.
