Cool
When you go flying what do you love to do?

Lets start a thread where people post what they love to do when they go flying.. I will start us off

When I go flying I love to fly as low as I can to the runway (or buzz the runway), touch and goes, and high speed passes!

When I used to go to the flying field, I loved to bring my planes back in one piece.

Depends on the plane. The common denominator is that I love to have the same parts count when I get home as when I started out! : )

Hmmm.. let's see:
1. Fly
2. Get up to spec high, dive straight down at full throttle, start rapid roll, laugh like crazy until LOW, stop roll, snap to straight up at full throttle, start rapid roll, laugh like crazy until spec high, stop roll. Repeat until battery weak or deep hole in the ground. Yes, everyone leaves the air space when I launch my insane flyer (BOP).
3. Fly
4. Glide and hanging on the wind
5. Try to land it on the runway (somewhere) in one reuseable piece.
#5 doesn't happen very often.
See my handle,
Crash

as electric sailplane flier i seek lift and avoid sink (but sometimes avoid lift and seek sink), and generally try to be efficient, but apparently i am not quickly bored even doing that. i get real fun when the plane specks out, and, when i get to burn off excess potential energy ;p
and i only fly low when landing (and starting for that matter) generally :P

When I go flying..

I like to hang with the fella's, swap stories, share info, lots of guy talk, etc

flying "Almost" becomes secondary to hanging at the field and watching each other fly, and seeing new cool planes show up all the time.

I love full throttle, low on the deck passes that go straight up into victory rolls at the end of the runway.

The day after Christmas, I love to go out to the empty field near the local hobby shop and see how many planes drop out of sky in 15 minutes.

Just to be clear, I used to offer to help. But was turn away almost every time. You know the type I'm talking about, the dad never flown RC before wanting to show their kids or wife how its done.
