Of course they are G suits. I beleieve the blocks at the bottom are not cargo pockets but shin protectors. Man.

Ya, I believe they are shin protectors. The seat belt fasteners lock into spools that pull the legs against the seat during ejection. RAF planes favor blowing through the canopy rather than ejecting the whole thing. You need to make sure all your body parts are nice and contained when you are plowing through all that glass!

BTW I think she is awesome!!!

And, that is why a Harrier pilot usually looks like hell, after ejecting!! I have seen tape of guy's that had just left an F-15, or F-16, and they do not look, worse for the wear. CaptCB
