The price is a bit steep considering you still need to buy a big arse gas motor - AND most DR1's tend to re-kit themselves in short order...

but there are some more chic pics there...

You do realise this is a big impressive 95" 1/3 scale triplane, a BVM electra is 2,495 plus retracts for toy jet that uses a hairdryer to fly it.

Can never understand why some are prepared to pay four times what they should for a jet kit than any other model aeroplane.

Haha, I hang mine from the ceiling here in my office/lab. I just bend a clothes hanger and suspend it from a hook. Sometimes Miss Tina makes me a length of rope out of daisy chained yarn to lower the hanger. Lee

I built a house. Drove every nail. I live in it. It has a spare room. That room is where I work. My office, my laboratory. What else is there to tell? Lee

Well, I guess. It is where I research and develope parts. Test stuff for some companies. Try different things. Produce parts for copters. I would say it is both laboratory and office. Lee

I hang my smaller, prettier models on the wall like a painting.

But my planes go in the garage...
