Ec, i like your Mystic power boat sticker, it is identical to the real MG! I got your youtube message and here is my response. When you get your hobbycity 2S 5000mah 40c packs, get some 5.5mm gold bullet connectors from a local hobby shop or offshoreelectics.com and take out the dean connectors and solder the male bullets on. I will tell you why in a few. Also you need to program your ESC with a proboat progamming module http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=PRB3311 so you dont hurt your lipos. You can get the off set rudder from kintec racing http://kintecracing.com/Miss_Geico_Upgrades.html for 20 bucks. You can run this boat on CALM salt water and just rinse it with fresh water right after your done or else you will get rust. You don't want metal cancer in your beautiful MG!

Update: I've got about 20 runs with my MG now, and i've noticed that the tubberware lid is being melted by the hot deans wires, the deans have WAY to much resistance, so i am replacing everything with 5.5mm gold bullet connectors.
I got a magnetic prop balancer and balanced my metal X642 prop, and also to beef up my MG, i got a brass bullet nut to lock the prop in place.
Prop balancing (0 min 17 sec)

I hope you used a tiny dab of locktite on the bullet nut............they come off easily. I have lost brand new props trying them and will never use them again.

Me too, it was a brand new (CF) prop though lol. A prop nonetheless.

I been using loctite with them now and all has been well since.

I hope you mean a x445 and not a x455, the x455 would destroy everything in you boat. The prather props are nice. If you plan to S&B yourself get the B220, the S220 can be a little more difficult to work with. I hope you are taking proper precaution when dealing Beryllium copper that is nastly NASTY stuff. I use rubber gloves a resisprator and long sleeves when I do prop work. Actually I choose not to do anymore prop work because of it. I don't want the shaving and dusting making there way into the house from the garage. I get people to do the work for me.

Diesel, since the motor is an outrunner, how does it stay cool? Just curious.

Cools itself while it spins lol.... Not water cooling needed. Runs low 100F temps on a 42x55

I see. right now i am just enjoying my MG, using the stock set up for sporting. I am deciding if i am going to join the NAMBA district 20 club this summer, because all of their racing sites are 30 miles away from my house and it would be a good experience. At some point i will want to upgrade my MG and take it up to the next level. I have seen multiple power upgrade setups on these forms. I am going to stick with 4S and pick out a higher amperage ESC with a hot rod motor.

Then you may want this BIG 4082 2200kv on 4s with a T180 ESC
