I know you tried the batteries front/middle/back - are they secured tightly (velco or such)? - maybe if you provided pictures of the inside of the boat (with batteries and where you normally position them) ppl with the same boat might discover an abnormality as to how its setup - just a thought

Cool, the x642 helped :-) ... a little bounce on 5s, but tbh I think thats coz it just wants to blow over cause of the speed - but when you go 5s, try and push the batteries abit more forward than when you are using 4s.

Nice it stopped the bouncing

I tried running them more up front , but that did not help.It got worse again. Maybe I did move them to much.
I will post a few pic's later on how they were sitting at the time, and the strutt. On 4s is was stabel , but on 5s I got to work just a tad more.
And order some 5000+ mah lipos to get the weight up. I have 4x 2s 4000 and 2x 3s 4000 and two more 3s 4000 on the way to get more 5s.
but next time I will get 5000 pack's.

I shove my packs towards the back of the boat and the strut is half-way below the sponson's at a pitched up angle.
I ordered a FPV camera and ill get some footage's onboard! keep in tune

Nice.
I smoked my kv1500, tried the prather 230 on 5s with the stock motor (180 esc though)
The 230 was great the 2 minut's the motor lasted, nice sound and good speed. Now I have the 4070 2000 leo on the bench.

You'd probably run faster by flattening the prop angle and moving the packs back a bit. Giving the prop positive angle wants to lift the nose and putting the packs up front keeps the nose down.

If the nose is too high, put less positive angle on the prop.

It was too far away from the boat.

Next time try keep it no more than 5m away from you.

What's the worst that can happen, it gets wet?
