Well, aint nothing working 4 me. Will wait untill kintec ships my parcel. Noticed today that the boat also do some side to side motion aswell as wa wa wa. I can se the cabel not beeing 100% straight when turning the prop by hand and looking at it comming out of the tube. Will get the replacment flex from ose, ore kintec. Any of them better than the other ?

What did you try today?

IMO, if it's rocking side to side, the transom is riding too high but there could be more to it.

He mentions lowering it twice, whether he did or not who knows, I don't have a crystal ball. But visually you can see the boat riding better on the water. Even after he shreds a prop and changes to a 435. I'm not arguing the point I just noticed what he said.

He actually say at 4min40sec he lower the 1/16 of an inch lets see how it runs.

Whether it's right or wrong, he did it or he didnt do it. The boat ran better.

He also swapped props and ran more voltage at the same time.

That was after he supposedly lowered the strut.

I can't test this theory untill the weekend so if anyone else has chance please let us know the results.

Nah, nothing much, just tried to get the prop as high as I could before it thouch the ruder holder, and then I lowered it bit by bit, to se if there were any changes , but nothing, it actually felt 'draggy',ore if something was holding it back in the water so I just got back to the standar setting and had fun with the pack's I brought with me and went home.

That's good your getting somewhere. You experienced drag when the strut was lowered was there positive angle on the strut or negative when you lowered the srtut ?

Nahh, I don't really know.As I tried to show in my short videoclip in post 154 I don't feel like I can angel the prop that much. The housing that comes out from the boat is pritty stiff. So I would have to say it was straight.
My kintec parcel is on the way as of tomorrow.

Just found this and was having a read. Not sure if this goes for CATS as well.

Porposing: Up and down movement, when running in a straight line. Could result from a prop too far from the transom, by a too positive strut angle or a too shallow prop. Possible corrections are:

Bring the prop near to the transom, 1/2 inch each time, testing after each adjustment;
Adjust the strut angle;
Lower the strut.

you still get allot of bouncing I`ll try to post pics and video of my friends MG hes does not do that , since he did the offset rudder, now and then when he hits the high speed , but i think cause it wants to blow over from going so fast . thats on 40c 5000 mah , 5s , 3s and 2s in series

Prather 215 as of now. Got the prather 230 on the way, and also the 642
should be here soon. The 42x55 was out of stock.

In the video I tried to show what I did last night, lipos far front , center , just hung of the the tray's , ore all the way back, strutt up ore down.

If I go , as I have mentioned before , wot at a slightly turn it will go nice and steady, but as soon as I let go , and in a straight line, BOUNCH..

Also, I felt like the boat was dragging a tiny bit more than with the stock rudder. I wonder how the proboat offsett rudder on the 'new miss geico'
is comaperd to the kintec, I see there is a design difference to it.

Keep them tips comming, I got to sort this out :-)
