Hi Edwardo.
Download the Sparkfun library. They have lots of header symbols all starting with 'M'. Actually you can download the Eagle schematic and baord layout for the Arduino Pro Mini : http://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoBoardProMini That way you can delete everything apart from the holes and they'll be in the right places! ![]() Good luck! Hi Edwardo.
I'm still also new to PCB design but I'd say use as large trace as you can e.g. 8mil -10mil. Usually your manufacturer will have a minimum width it can handle so it's best to check first. Have you checked the Sparkfun tutorial? Full of useful info: http://www.sparkfun.com/tutorials/109 I used Seeedstudio to make my boards. They can do 10 pieces of a board with maximum size of 5x5cm for just $20. They'll also ship it within 4 days of the design being accepted! They also provide design rules you can load into Eagle to check your board. Unfortunately they're in Singapore and I've been waiting AGES for the boards to arrive! Although I think you can pay more for faster shipping. http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/services-c-185.html They also do a 10x10cm service for $40. If you definitely want to do it in Europe for reasons other than speed then maybe try pcbpool? I've never used it myself and I don't know if there are cheaper options but I know someone who've used them and were happy with the service. http://www.pcb-pool.com/ppuk/index.html They do a 1dm2 board for 48.86 EURO. It's for one board and its an 8 day service. You can get a quote on their site. Ben. |
