Hey thanks for the build log in this one!
Been taking a look at it myself too, and I can clearly see from your pics that it is made by the same mfr that makes the other 49in one HK has. Of which I have bought three of(the 48in ,model).
And also from the looks it's obviously as robust as you say, as my smaller version.

I've been looking at this plane also. I have the foam decathlon and like it. When you get a flight test in, please update as i have not found much info on the net about this plane.

thanks

Well it's a real one. C-GVQT exists, although the stripes are blue.

Hi there nice looking plane. Please post more pictures, it is a beauty. I haven't decided yet this decathlon or the new Cub. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=15615 Neither one is in stock.
The decathlon looks more sturdier. The wing is bolted to the fuse? Please post a picture of the wing joiner.
Thank's and regards, Adrian.

I wonder why the landing gear is so long? Cf the full scale photo. Maybe it could be cut and bent?

Is there already any flight experience with that plane? I have just ordered it and I am curious whether there are some people who have built and flown that plane.
It looks very nice, but does it fly as well as it is looking?

After more than one year I finally received the replacement canopy (the one in the box was broken). The HK genius declared 110$ custom value so I also had to pay more than 30$ of import taxes... these guys are real genius... will complete the build and see how these brick flies

Hello,

I bought a Decathlon .46 EP/GLOW 62.6", but is my first airplane.
I want to use eletric motor, I choosed this Turnigy G46:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s..._46_Glow_.html

But the shaft direction doesn't fit in the original mount.
If I buy these stand-offs: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...5FGold%5F.html
works correctly?
