As if the quake and tsunami weren't bad enough, now this Japan nuke thing is getting scary. I hope all our Japanese friends are staying as safe as possible.

I've tried to call him .. with no luck ... I hear sound like the sound you hear when you're at the beach at a windy day ... Home. work ... all do the same thing ...

According to the news, at last 10K were gone Miyagi along and people don't have water, food, and electricity there for 3 full days so far. Hopefully Dr. will be ok, but the recovery will be a long long time. Also the nuke exposure is an unknown and untold situation that along is the worst.
I checked the Google map earlier, looks like Dr.'s work place is about couple of miles (at most) from the Pacific ocean and his home just about the same distance. One way or the other, where he at was one of the places got hit hard by both. |

As I'm an atheist, I'm not fussing over prayers and such, but I sure as hell wish I could go there and help with my own hand...! Right now...! Unfortunately, I can't, as our lives are rolling on, "modern civilisation" pressing us to make more and more money without resting... I wish them best of luck, may their struggle be short, may they find the strength to get back onto their feet in short time! May they find the answers on their beloved ones quickly - no one should search for years... Good News ....
I've just received a reply from Dr Kakuta to a friend of his .. he seems to be Okay .. the damage he suffered seems to be due to the Earthquake not the Tsunami ... the internet is down.... I assume his house and his belongings are also intact.. because Dr Kakuta has built some wings for My friend .. and he said they are okay... I really hope to see him posting again in here ...
