PS I don't subscribe to Chi Daddy's fear factor of the coating failing under a boat. Last time I checked 1/3 of all water is oxygen
Would be interesting to see if it actually made a difference on the hull, in terms of speed/acceleration/run times....but what I'm thinking now is, what would it do to the handling of the hull??? If it's more 'slippery', would it 'slip' about on the water rather than bite in and turn?....the chines might not 'dig in'....think about it.
That said tho, coating the inside of the pump body would have to help flow....where's Chi's flow bench...

She doesnt snore.., but, the running expenses usually are around 4-5k a month..car pmt, credit cards, facials, masssages, hair, clothes, misc. jewelry, flowers, etc.

All hobbies are expensive tho, BUT, most have a residual value..no trade in value there..
Pffft...not for boats....people also said that BBQ sauce wasn't for ice cream....but that never stopped me. I'll try anything once....If I like it, I'll try it again.
She is a very pretty lady Chi. I'm sure she is worth every last cent mate...and then some.

Mart is correct..boats have to stick too..period..even hydrofoils..they lift the hull, but, the foils are the WETTED surface..and you aint hot turnin em either..lol..

We used to use it because we were doing drags then, so, no turnin involved, but, taking the boat thru turns made it spin out..and on a full size boat at speed, that aint good..

Jets, by their nature, gotta be stuck to the water to feed..props can ride subsurface, and lift the entire boat out of the water..and they do. completely..jets gotta stay hooked, and the hook is placed in the hull FOR that reason..pump feed

Hi Guys
I have 2 little RC jetboats. Hope to show more pics and vid as we progress. I've seen open water at a bunch of places recently, but I need to get a chase boat into the water, or Iose the boats.

For those who live in places unlike mine, you need to know, the jetboats just suck air this time of year outside my window.

LOL..aint it? BUT, we appreciate the good weather..

Johnny, when you set up your chase boat, make sure it has a way of snaring it, or scooping it, upside down, or not..nothing to hook on, and you, being on the river, that could get ugly..

Haha, I leave you guys alone for a few days and this place goes to the birds! (Not that I'm complaining!)

Anyway, obligatory weekend skiing shots:
