Mart is correct..boats have to stick too..period..even hydrofoils..they lift the hull, but, the foils are the WETTED surface..and you aint hot turnin em either..lol..
We used to use it because we were doing drags then, so, no turnin involved, but, taking the boat thru turns made it spin out..and on a full size boat at speed, that aint good.. Jets, by their nature, gotta be stuck to the water to feed..props can ride subsurface, and lift the entire boat out of the water..and they do. completely..jets gotta stay hooked, and the hook is placed in the hull FOR that reason..pump feed |

Hi Guys
I have 2 little RC jetboats. Hope to show more pics and vid as we progress. I've seen open water at a bunch of places recently, but I need to get a chase boat into the water, or Iose the boats. For those who live in places unlike mine, you need to know, the jetboats just suck air this time of year outside my window. John in Merrill |
