very good choice.
you won't regret it.. and you will probably cruise around at half throttle
I also tested this fan at 91.000+rpm and it survived just fine... only my first impreller flew off on testing because I didn' tscrew it on well so be carefull

Guys,

Thank you very much to both of you for the valuable informations. I just placed the order from http://www.highendrc.com for 2W-20 + HET 6904. All my batteries are 4S, that will be a good setup to use them indeed.

Now one another issue I have to clarify. Takiss already told the front strut something like 13cm. But that 13cm is from the bottom of the fuselage till to wheel axle or up to ground? That is important. Front strut must be with 2 wheel setup.

Just came in the mail, here are a few pics. The other jet on the pool table is the Starmax F5 for size comparisons. Absolutely no instructions for anything.

thanks for the PICS!!!

looks very nice, sucks they gave you no decals or manual for CG though?

I do like the retract wells for the mains, guess the rotating retracts like the arc f-18 would work ( disable the rotation and lock them), but it appears they didnt make the foam for the front retract bay/ mount huh.

doesnt look like a 4 blade fan to me, just one of the overstock of 3 blade pusher fans LOL.

wow, thanks for the photos.
Very nice ducting, I like it.

The stock fan looks like a copy of Velocity-RC WM400MK2, not a bad fan
see video
Velocity-RC WM400MK2 and WM300 EDF Testing (1 min 18 sec)

also, you may try this CG calculator for delta wing jet with canards, hope
that helps. http://adamone.rchomepage.com/cg_canard.htm

Look like EPS foam to me, I love EPS foam much more than EPO.
Yeah. I might get one for me, $42 airframe + $36 shipping to US is not bad at all

Thanks

I think they do make the foam blocks for retract bays, see photo.
It is nice, just use those blocks to seal the bays and hand launch.

Thanks,

your set up is max around 55,000-57,000 rpm, not 91,000rpm like you said.
No way, impossible. Unless it is a miracle of yours. Not physics

I just look at those photos again. WOW.
It is a very VERY NICE and complete kit, even has wood base
mounts for retracts.

And I visit HK site, they offer me the airframe for ~$40 + $36 shipping
Shall I ???

whoops, i mean there is no precut out for the front retract, looks like the nose gear will be a total DIY mod ( no wheel well for the gear to go in when retracted or mount to), yet the rears have the plugs to close of retract wells.

think one thing, type another... it happens

Of course don't even think twice...

Thanks for the photos Jguilty13, they are amazing especially the retract bays perfect... So retract mod will be not so much hard... Its absolutely sure that I am going to use the ARC F-18 struts with lander e-retracts... Only I am stuck to painting the fuselage to navy grey or not... This plane must be in grey color.
