Humm... make it black. Use Lipos and brushless motors and use it for night time Ops. ?.?.

Note sure how useful it would be bringing in one tank at a time would be. Or an air ship that can be slowly brought down with a .22.

It would take a lot of bullets the way it's made. This idea has been around for decades, BTW.

Look up the "Deltoid Pumpkinseed" the original attempt at a multi lobed lifting airship. All blimps derrive some lift off the shape of the bag. Making them wider just increases the amount of lift. So you can take a ship that is neutrally boyant load on 1-4 tanks then accelerated down the runway and fly the heavier load. When you drop the load you just "float" back empty.

As for useful the C-17 and C-5 only deliver 1 or 2 tanks at a time. Get's the job done.

Read that book. Even earlier was the idea to hook 3 helis to a spherical balloon.
