Dock Kart

I want to share photos of my recently finished dock kart. Wheels are 14" and will go down curbs or stairs very well. It has been built around my Star 45. The end pieces (cradles) are replacable to handle differnt boats as needed. The handle is retractable to fit in the back of my van. The square hole in front is fitted for a foldup lawn chair. Side compartments for tools and transmitter, coffee and cup and of course lunch. The height of the deck form the ground is 30" a nice height for working on boat. bungie cords to hold the boat for and aft for transport.
comments welcome
Thanks

Very nice. Brad has a cart thing for the big boat,
68lbs. It is just too much to handle with out
wheels..

It is hanging from the ceiling in the shop when
not being used, I will try to get a pic..

Love the bright finish on the Star, ours is white
with a canvas deck, all stainless rigging. Almost
afraid to take it to the lake..

Kimber, Thank you. Seeing your Star was my inspiration to build mine.

You are welcome, our cart, not as nice as yours,
but it does the job.

Nice boat stroller.... I think I would have extended the front a little so the bow would have some protection...

A couple of the guys in our club just picked up some nice colaspable wagons that work great for our hobby as th3ey will hold up to ( i beleive what i was shown on the tag) about 150 pounds. Srtong, flexible, big enough to carry a Darby, gear, and some extra as needed and best of all--it collaspes down for easy transport and storage. retail around $100.00Saw some thing like it at the local harbor Freight Store,Wall Mart, and Kmart.
