Advice for neat installation of Wires on a 500
Hey guys, I am working on my first big heli; a 500 clone from RC Aerodyne.
I was curious if people could post some pics of their 500's wiring? I am having trouble making it neat; too long of wires and it is looking like hell. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would love to see some pics of some clean installations.  Many thanks Bradley |

The 500 has lots of places to hide wires. Just run them inside the frames.

Thanks guys! Everything is all neat and I got 3 batteries of hover in yesterday. I will take some pics later and get em up. Not bad for my first day with a heli; I was super nervous and thought I would duff it in immediately but I did just fine and had no trouble hovering in one spot

Yeah the 500 is really nice and stable, and quite forgiving of setup errors. I really like mine

keeping wires neat
do what Dale did. Use braided expandable sleeving found at a Fry's Electronics or a electronic surplus store or google for online resources. 1/4" works well

I bought my sleeving at Frys for less than $10 I believe for a 15 foot roll. That roll covered my old 500ESP, 600ESP, Atom 500, Logo 600 and a Logo 600SE. I still have a foot or two left in the package. Great investment for a sexah bird. Also helps with any interference issues between wires as well. The short version is to remove the plug from the wires, slide on the appropriate length and two small pieces of shrink. Put the plug back on and hit the shrink with some heat. VERY clean look in the end and much better than seeing flag colors all over an otherwise nice build.
