Try putting it on throttle hold, and moving the throttle from 0-100% to see if the servos are moving enough. Try changing blades, and try taking the main gear off, then throttling from 0-100 to hear if the motor seems to run up to 100. Good luck

Is this after a crash? If so double check the main gear, (I realize you have already checked it but double checking never hurts). A lot of the times the main gear will still be on the main shaft but will slip down. Even if it slips by a fraction of an inch the heli will act like you have to push the throttle stick all the way forward to get it off the ground. There should only be about 1/16" gap between the main gear and the bearing. Conversely if you pushed the main gear up and pressed it too tight on the bearing it will act as if you have no power and won't lift off the ground.

You also mention that it does not respond to idle up any more. Can you be more specific? Does the motor stop when you go in to idle up, or what exactly is happening?

Any radio settings that can be upped?

Check that the flat on the main gear is lined up as well.

Weird that it doesn't respond to idle up have you tried rebinding?

No wreck involved. One day it worked, and then it didn't.

what battery are you running and how many cycles have you done on it? Also how many mins do you fly for and what it the end voltage when you finish your flight?

It could be a few different things then,

1. Motor going out, (if you get 100 flights out of one your doing good).
2. Batteries going bad. (These small batteries only seem to last about 50 flights if you're lucky), some of the cheaper batteries only last 15 -20 flights.
3. Bad 3 in 1 board.

I bought 4 brand new Spyder 250mah batteries. So they are good.

I have 105 flights on thre heli, so it very well could be the motor. I just don't want to get a motor and find that it was something else.

I already did that with the batteries

If it is the 3 in 1 board, I wouldn't know. I think I will just try a new motor.

Yes, there are improved settings on the V2 board, especially for the tail.

when mine lost power it was the main motor that was bad, and it didnt have very many flights on it, but it goes ok now with a new motor. They are so cheap try it!

I burnt my tail fet when my tail wires shorted.

The symptom was smoke and the tail motor just kept on running.

I replaced the fet and now I have rudder in only one direction and not the other. The tail stops when I input left rudder, but right rudder accelerated the tail in the correct direction.

Is there a 2nd tail fet? If so, which one is it?

If not, any other thoughts?
