Today I had a little slop develop on the main shaft the gear is still seated on the flat spot but now it moves up and down almost 1/8" exposing half of the bearing on top.
It also seems to have more negative pitch than pos. To hover it took almost full up stick.

I am soon to become the new owner of a mcpX RTF. Found someone selling it used but like new for $100. Comes with the dx4e.
I dont have another spektrum tx, so will be using the dx4, but its a mode 1 tx and i am used to mode2.

Been looking around and cant find any info on changing the dx4 modes around.
have found that the dx5 had a hidden switch that allowed you to change modes, and one for the dx6 but nothing for the dx4.

Not being a computer transmitter in theory should be able to complete the conversion somehow right?

Anyone have any instructions useful comments?

or (worth a try lol) anyone in Australia willing to swap mode 2 for mode1?

Press the main gear up and this should fix it. To do this press firmly until it moves.

I haven't seen the inside of a dx4. But on my 5e I could unscrew the pots and move them from one side to another if I wanted. I switched out a IR tx on my litehawk pro's pots to fly mode 2 by jumping the connections over from one pot to another. I did that by cutting the connection into the PCB and simply ran them over to the opposite side with wires. So where there is a will there is a way.

I tryed pressing it up but it doesn't move. The shaft is still flush with the bottom of the gear and it doesn't look like it moved.

Are the flats lined up?? The shaft on both mine sticks down below the gear when the gear is installed correctly....

Other than reading about it in a post, how does one become aware of the Buddy Code? How is a Buddy Code initiated?

Then buy the batteries - mostly it is only possible to put 3 batteries for buddy price 1.95 into the cart. (After trying probably 100 times in different versions, I finally managed to buy 15 - before I made 3 orders á 3 batteries, because I did not manage it).
Beware - the batteries are already out of stock, backorder.
I have to wait for my 15, too - but my 3 x 3 have been sent this morning.

If you buy an item at HK, many items show the "buddy code active" sign after the reviews.
After having bought the items for normal price (and paid), you can see (after a while) signs for buddy codes after the items in your order.
You have to share the code with other users (http://hk.rc-international.info/swarm or the Hobby King swarm sale thread in this forum).
If they use your code, you will get bonus points (money for next order) for the items you have bought, so you get the money for your next order.
