Question about A-10 with polies?
I have 3s1p 1200 etec.....would these be ok with the A-10....I just saw that video of the A-10 GWS with 2s2p 1200......would the 3s1p 1200 be ok to...
1. Would it be more or less power 2. HOw much flight time.. thanks guys!!! |

I think the 3s pack will fry the stock motor, I test 1 stock fan and it drew 8 amps , I think that will fry t eh motor in seconds, but I only powered it up for less than 3 secs. Go with the 2s2p KK340 pack, it will have the amps to cover and is lighter than teh 2s2p 1200 way, though flight times will be cut short but those small stock motors wun be able to fly more than 7 mins on the stock at WOT as they will begin to over heat.

If you replace the motors with 7.2v ips motors you'll be ok. If not you wil fry the motors quickly. 2s2p etecs give 3 -4 7-8 minute flights

Have you tried replacing thr 4.8V motors with 7.2V? I've often wondered if this would work with a 3s1p or a 9 cell batter pack. Would the 7.2V motors last any longer? Scott |

for those whom have changed out the 4.8V to 7.2V pls let us know the amp draws and static thrust you get form the 3s lipos, thanks, I would love to know the values and the power of those motors
