Twin piston

I did show my twin piston single cylinder here, well here is another example, I belive it belonged to collector F.Fisher.

That is interesting Reginald. What year and month was that article printed? I do not recall even seeing or hearing about it before. Do you happen to have the rest of the article or not? I would be interested in reading it and seeing what performance they were getting out of that engine. Thanks for sharing.

Reggie, Maybe it had a separate oil system, like full size and the Channel Island Special, etc.
No i.c. engine runs for very long without any lubrication at all.
It's been done in CL racing, but it means more or less rebuilding the engine every flight.

Unfortunately it does not say on these copies. I do have several own-made bindings where I used to keep engine articles only in. It is possible that I still do have that magazine. Lately I just cut out the pages of interest to be bound in a new volume and give the magazine away. My guess is RCM 1997.

Yes forgot to mention, it did have an oil sump of course. Like the Kavan.
