Bryan, have you seen what Kikuyu grass can do after several inches of rain, and some warm weather ? The damn stuff grows up power poles and the sides of houses out here. I've seen it on the North Coast of NSW / Queensland areas growing up the full height of a fence - trellis style !

Anyone know anything about this Angstrom 91 ? Appears to be a dedicated ducted fan engine. Last 2 photo's show what a makeover can do for a Wen-Mac

PS the Angstrom engines were apparently made in Russia 10 years or so ago, used by German flyers

In an EXCLUSIVE interview you'll learn more about these new engines. Then, watch them power Wolfgang's 20 pound MiG 29 into a vertical climb right from take off !"

That awful stuff where we flew FF in the '90s was over our heads at times.
Took me hours to find an A2 at one time.

On the subject of Picco this is a P-80 I have got for some time and it is for sale. Very good compression but I cannot give guarantee on an engine like this and no box or papers, it was a swapmeet find. These engines are ring-less.

Pretty engine Bob. With this size venturi intake is a good measure to prepare a bigger fuel bottle for the field !

This came out of a ducted fan but I bought it to be used in a modern cl speed car, was going to send the engine to Gualtiero to have it re-worked, but so many other things to finish.... if no one buys it I will still send it to him one of these days. These Picco's are not so easily found. And mine's got the original carb !

Hard to find a new one ! This is a 1959 Wen-Mac Mk. II, Model 8, otherwise known as a "Hustler". This model didn't come with a spring starter, but the ones that did were called "Rotomatic"

Not often sighted with integral F/F tank, this is a 1949 K & B Glo-Torp 32. Note the timer lug still under the front housing, a left over from the 1947 spark ignition 32

"The Como Series of engines, made by SuperTigre, have been out of production since the early 1980s. During the time they were in production, they shared many parts with similarly-sized SuperTigre engines".

2 variants of the COMO 61 shown below
