When the engine came out I had to pay 930$ in a well known modelshop. OS also specifically stated that there was NO guarantee for this one. I believe a max of 36000 rpm was stated by OS.

Mistake. Max rpm was 30000

There was also the CZ-11P that was cheaper to buy. Statement by OS was 'substantially less costly alternative to the CZ-11PS' in their 1992 catalog. Both are of 1,79cc. Difference between 11PS and 11P was the use of sharing many parts with the CZ-11 buggy engine in the 11P. The 11PS has 0,6 Hp. Wished I had one. Do'nt think they were for sale in Belgium. That price may well be paid by some collector. Wonder how many were made ?

If I do'nt mix up the name with something else I believe I used to be a member of that society. In any case it was run by Peter Scott when he lived in Switserland. Alive and well now in his native Britain. He's quite often on ebay. Forgot his call name. He's a very knowledgable collector. That society started in the early 80'ies. If it is the one ....

Back in page 127 there's a test report on the 40PS where it was run up to 32,000 revs on the OS pipe with max HP at 28,430 revs. A Bolly pipe gave more HP at lower revs but wasn't as forgiving as the OS pipe.

That sounds like the correct society. Peter had a nice article regarding collectors in the Aug. 1980 MAN.
