Dynomike75 built a really sweet 342 out of some $ Tree foam and it inspired me. I have been playing around with Sketch-up for a couple days learning how to draw on it. I wanna make plans for one, so everyone can enjoy this cool looking plane.

Here is where I have gotten, be kind only second day of ever using a cad program.

Thanks and went right off of measurements I got from 3-view and real plane. It may just be the fact I can't get canopy area just right. But I figure the canopy will be up to person building so I gave up on that.

Well this is the point I am to now. Wish I was faster and better than this. I am kinda having some issues on the cowl area. I like it but I don't.

Hankg thanks for the link, I had it but others may not. I saw JBourke's selling them now, I never even knew what a Sbach was until I saw his, nice planes.

I also wanted to tell ya guys so far I am thinking Dollar Tree foam. 30" Wingspan, but may change my mind. I am really digging small planes lately though, cheap electronics and easy to haul.

Well I have decided to make a KFM4 wing for it. I will leave it up to others to decide if that is how they wanna do it.

Sorry if I am posting too often, for one I'm excited with my progress. Secondly I had 3 wisdom teeth pulled today and got some time on my hands.

Looks great from the leading edge back.can u box the fuse on your program and then round the edges.then add the two intake snouts and the spinner ring.my fuse front was a hair taller than it was wide.ill work tommorow on some pics and measurements and pm u a video with the main build and ill take the cowl and hatch off so u can see the innerds.be great to see more of these in the air.

Pccdtk, that is beautiful. I am reworking my fuse today. I am not happy with it, space 1 is right too fat. I am also building the fuselage frame work more so this time. I realized I had the outside and couldn't figure out how to do the interior parts. So a fresh start on that today. I am not going for all on scale, I want something that can be built by many without going crazy doing it.

I am going on a big learning curve with Sketch-up. I have never used a cad and there is a ton to learn. I am doing it but takes me 2 hours what it takes some 2 minutes I am sure.

Wish me luck, I need all I can get. and P.S. getting wisdom teeth pulled sucks. I layed flat last night and my face is swollen like a melon.

That's spot on pcc.these might help bbj.the motor just fits in side the cowl.notice the extra foam strips to allow rounding the box fuse the added and shaped the three "snouts".

Man I am stupid some times, thanks for the pics you guys especially you Dynomike!!! Now I see where I was having issues on the fuse, flat sides rounded corners. Some times it is the simple things.

More shots.motor box is monokote tube ran back through a couple of the formers.epoxy bottle motor mount.lastly a photo of what continued involvement in this hobby will lead to.

Dynomike that is SO funny you posted that ultra-light I was just watching videos of them before be last night. No lie.
