if you add more tails, it even fly`s better !!!
picture 1 + 2 shows a one-point bridle adjustment (about 10cm behind the top of the keel)
..and instead of the carbon-vector-frame i use a lighter 6mm carbon tube !

hi Joel,
if the wind is more than 2 Bft, i fly my kites on lines.
vector-kite-flying makes sense (and a lot of fun) from 0-2 bft.
the premier-canard fly`s best in windconditions from 0-1 Bft.
Premier-Deltabox 0-1,5 Bft.
Best for windpenetration is the Premier-Pyramidbox: 0-3 Bft.

if you like, try this:

start your pyramidbox at 4 Bft, fly no curves just straight, if you throttle the motor your kite will come down and drift at the same time backwards.
After five minutes you land at your starting place!

A higher wind range is one Parameter a kite with moveable surface has over vectored thrust. I would not hesitate to fly my Canard in 15+ mph winds. Here is a video of A custom Hawkeye with an attached elevator flown in winds gusting to 25mph.

Hi -I'm just starting out with a kite thats 1400mm span by 570mm high. What size motor would you recommend? And is there a critical distance between the motor and the kite's spine?

Would appreciate any help.

motor is connected with the servo and turns right and left, up and down flight via throttle control !
