Very cool. I have a FY20A hooked up to my KK blackboard, It is very stable, but not exactly hands off. Which Helicommand is this? On their site there are a lot of options some with GPS etc. Which one are you using?

I don't, I may bring my camera(s) home from work this weekend. You're right too by the way about the "if possible" bit... I've only flown coax blade heli's and this is a bit different. My biggest problem is orientation, which takes lots of practice I'm sure. Thanks for the tutorial BTW, being a complete n00b to this all, these kind of write-ups help a lot!

kk wil do all the mixing so we dont mess with rudder and throttle and they stay in the same place with both setups but the aileron and elevator will go through the flymentor thus enabling auto leveling and positiong mode below ten feet

steps

1, link up your kk board and get it flying as good as you can (so motor goes to esc, esc goes to motor in ports of your KK board, kk board out to RX aileron elevator throttle and rudder)

2, add flymentor to your multi the same way you would for a heli (so 3axis gyro on foam mount, ccd lens at the bottom with clear view of the ground and in the center of the model control box where you like)

3, take aileron wire from RX that comes from the output of the kk board and plug it into port one of the flymentor (so now your aileron channel from your kk board goes into port one of you flymentor)

4, plug the aileron wire from the flymentor output (the frayed ribbon with loads of plugs on the end) into the aileron channel of your RX (this is the black red and white wire)

5, take elevator wire from RX that comes from the output of the kk board and plug it into port two of the flymentor (so now your elevator channel from your kk board goes into port two of you flymentor)

6, plug the elevator wire from the flymentor output (that same frayed ribbon with loads of plugs on the end) into the elevator channel of your RX (the wire next in line which is the yellow wire)

here are the 1st tests with flymentor off in the 1st half and on in the 2nd half, kk board was left the way i got it in the post (trims in the center at 12 oclock though at 2 oclock the kk board was very stable by itself)

nicely done with FM , i also received my kk board(blue board for Tri) from korea ,one thing is not mention ,what Swash mix to select in FM and in TX (as mention all mixing done by kk than swash 90 in TX ), what in FM than ???
