Ran 5 packs thru mine in the back yard last night. I want more EL throw... but these are great flyers!!!
Also flew the Motrofly DM2205-1800kv on 2 cells. WOW sucks more battery than the Turnigy but more power for sure. Probably 30% more, I'd say. Knifeedge loops are tight, rolls fast, great flyer.

My hinges would not hold. Listen to Diggs in ATTF talking about his Welder's hinges . . I had the same experience. I had to reglue after several flights.

When your first hinge comes undone, try the White side lol.

Check this out E-Foamy.com new products.

Mike is going to release an airfoil wing 34" Freestyle and also 32.5" airfoil wing Yak soon.

Since Mike is my flying buddy, I've already got dibs on one of the first ones.

Hmm, I may have to buy one to see if we can print on that surface.

Gorilla Glue

The Gorilla Glue I saw at Lowes was kind of an amber liquid. Does it dry white?

There are two types. The amber is the original - much like that foam insulation.

White has a white label, and it is marked "white."

I don't know the exact airfoil, but I'm pretty sure it is the same foil section he used on the 42" epp planes and also on the QuickStick, worked very well on those planes. I'm really looking forward to the 34" foiled Freestyle.

I think it is going to be a big improvement to this size plane for outdoor flying. I'm expecting more speed and wing efficiency, and no high speed wing flutter.

The Freestyle is tough, I found out that you can run into a street light at full speed and fly away from it with no damage.

The wind dropped today so I did a little flying in front of the house.

Just FYI This motor is SUPER on these planes.-----Motrolfly DM2205-1800kv ----
On a 9 x 5 HD on 2 cells it gets the same power as the 1500 Turnigy on 3 cells. I did some test flying last night! I just ordered my second one.

Nice vid Motorhead. Was that the foiled wing. I flew 3 batteries thru mine at sundown last night. The more I fl it...the more I like it. I have increased my throws a couple of times and now I get cool KE loops and almost back flips the loops are so tight. I wish I could get my wife, or someone to get a video. I'm going to have to order a backup but I might need the airfoiled one. Not sure. Which do you prefer, Motorhead?

That was the flat wing version. I have not flown the airfoiled version yet. LF is building it. I expect it will be a great flyer just like the airfoiled Yak.
My wife was worried that she would not do a good job but I think she did fine.
