No directions on CG? Since you got the RTF, maybe you can pass on the stock CG location with the factory setup for this uninformed consumer?

More info on silk screen painted rc eagle by www.gootchrc.com
The wingspan is 6 ft, 7In.
The thrust vectering motor servo is coupled to the wing servo by a y harness.
So this means that when the motor turns left the right wing goes up and vice versa
I think if the motor would stop in flight you would still have control of eagle with
elevator servo and wing servo.

I don.t think very likely since the rear of the tail is used as elevator
and is controlled by elevator servo..
Also if you were to move the trust vectoring motor from the front
of the eagle to a spot further back on the eagle. I thing you would cause a
major center of gravity problem

What I mean is not relocating the motor stick to the back tail area. But, unscrew the motor from the front of the mount to the back of it. Thus a pusher.

Ok I see what you mean. Yes you can move the motor from front of mount
to back of mount. You would have to go to a smaller prop.since the stock prop
would hit the top of the body. also remember the motor directional servo
is connected to the wing servo. by a y harness, But all in all it might work.
What do you think might be an advantage of pusher configuration

That mixing would explain the one video where every time the plane turns, it noses down.

That's just like a coupled rudder/aileron plane does if you hold the stick over too long due to the rudder becoming a down elevator once the plane is banked.

You may want to run them separate if you're comforable with full house controls.

Oh, and what were your shipping costs if you don't mind me asking?

I thought about reversing the motor also for use with a folding prop for soaring. Probably would work also as a puller but may not fold as far or could hit the post when opening.

Ideally the motor and boom could be retracted into the body for drag reduction but as already mentioned, the CG change would prevent this. Maybe a compensating weight shifting of the battery or other method could be used for CG trim but that's getting too complicated.
