?? Is there a differance between a Blade SR and Blade SR 120?

On our local Craigs list there is a Blade SR for sale. Asking $100.00
(includes some spares)
Is there a differance between the Blade SR and Blade SR 120?
Which would a beginner be better off with?
Thanks!
Jim

The blade SR is a collective pitch and is not a rank begginers heli and can be costly in a crash the SR 120 a larger version of the msr is a fixed pitch 45degree head that a begginer can handle it crashes without alot of if any damage. Unless you can see the SR and see it fly it could possibly cost almost as much as a new one to get in the air $100 dollars is a good price for heli and radio but unless you see it fly it could be just a bunch of spare parts. Electronics could be bad parts could be bad bent or broken so use caution. For a begginer a SR120 would be a wise pick easier to fly and repair parts cost is cheaper just for a set of eflight blades for the SR about it's $15 also the 120 can be flown indoors and outside if the wind is not blowing to hard

The SR is not a beginners heli and most experienced pilots don't much care for it either.

the SR can be the next step

go with the 120 SR , it is fantastic

I have also this model and I tryied to adapt a fuselage on it, it is the body of the Kestrel 500 SX , very faithful reproduction of the famous MD 530

this is the video made after a lot of work on it

RC Heli - E-Flite Blade 120 SR , with Kestrel 500 SX Fuselage - Scale Body MD 530 - Part 1.wmv (14 min 57 sec)

I hope can be useful for somebody interested to do something similar

greetings from Holland

Fabio

Fabio,
Thanks for posting the video!
I like the way the Kestrel's horizontal stabilizer protects the rotor and tail motor!
The 'new suit' looks great!
