I really like the 4315-714.....Tons of power.... Originally had the A40-10S, (and I really like Hacker motors) but it felt somewhat anemic to me.... That said....I know FlipRob really likes his A40...

I did the same but got a red one. Got all the piece parts except the motor, and with the price cheaper than a 51" Slick I couldn't resist.

Anyone use 9650's? I have 4 on hand that I was planning on using... I'd like to find a couple of the metal gear sets but they are scarce...

The sale got me off the fence as well. Sold the 51" Slick in 24 hours. Tracking info says the 59 will be here 09-21-12. I'm planning on it's flying qualities to more closely match my 71" Slick. I can haul the 59 fully assembled. Should be my everyday airplane.

My 51 and 71 fly a lot alike. My 59 was the different one of the bunch. The 42, 51, 71, and 89 all have a similar feel too them while still all feeling like there own. The 59 has more of a refined extra sc feel to it.

I have 4x 6s2650mAh packs that I had for a TREX 500 that I sold. Has anyone used these packs with the 59" Slick? Since the the 59" slick is on sale I was possibly thinking about getting one since the packs I have could work in the plane. Thanks!

Most people use 4000mAH 4S packs, so, to me if going 6S you would want more like 3000 or 3300 mAH packs....but....they'll give you a few minutes of flight.....

I believe a 2650 maH 6s batt has the same watt hours as a 4000 4s. So i believe they would be about the same flight times.

I think joe smith runs them on his 60" planes

TK421, I use the 9650's and love them. I first had 225mg and they did not center well at all. I removed them before the first flight. I love the 9650's and have used them all year with no problems. They are very precise and I think you would like them.
