I just ordered my slick today. I plan on running 2 hs225mgs that i have and buying 2 new 5245s. I have a ice lite 75 that i want to run and a 4315-480 on 6s 3000 or so. Would there be any problems with this setup that you can see besides that i'm the one that's gonna try and fly it? This is my second balsa plane and the first high quality one.

(Set throttle response to 10 to get it really nice and crisp ) I'm not so sure about the servos. I've heard bad things about the 225's. Maybe 5245's all round would be better. If you have the cash, JR DS3711HV or HS7245MH running at 7.4V (would need to change the voltage in the BEC programming menu or use a 2S LiPo to achieve this voltage) all round would be best I've heard the Futaba 9650's are good also but I don't think they're metal geared.

I was thinking with 6s there would still be some room on the amps so the 75 would work. I currently, on a HK foam sbach, am running a 42-48 turnigy ntm on 6s and the data log has been showing about 1500 watts. I figured the larger more efficient motorfly would make that same power with possibly lower amps. On the 225mgs so far they have worked okay for me.

I think 75 will be A-okay then! ![]() I've heard mix-reports about the 225's. Some say decent, some say terrible. I read they have a dodgy case design like their digital brother the 5245's but you'll have to read up on that My 7245MH's have been really good! There is some jitter but in flight it doesn't seem to effect it at all. Although they are more expensive unfortunately

I have a Motrolfly 4315-714kv, no crashes. It was rewound to 800kv and the lightened x mount was added. Losi and I got a little too much motor when this plane first came out. A castle ICE 100 lite is direct soldered. Addicts get to make an offer for one or both before it hits the classifieds. I am selling to move to a EF 64 MXS. I ship USPS priority w/ tracking within 24 hours.

Motrolfly for the 59 Slick? Which should I use, plan on doing mostly pattern type flying and low and slow stuff, should I go with the 3620-750 or the 4315-714? I plan on using 4S batteries. Just thought I would ask the experts here.
