Faster in any color = a motor from Ken at Motrolfly! My 4315 668 rips on 5 cells with a 15x7 and runs like a normal 3D plane with the same prop on 4 cells. I am waiting on the wind to try it with a 16x8 on 4 cells. Should be Lower and Slower! I love my 59 and I hope they have not changed it up too much as I still need a left wing. Ben are you listening?

And that's why I want this plane, because it just looks so nice! If ADC HobbyStore lets me due to shipping, I might order two just incase it goes out of stock and I ever need spares

Now, just need to decide orange or red? I really like the black outlines on the cowl on the red so I think I might just have to be that!
All it takes is money....I don't think ADC is going to restrict the number you can buy..

The DS9660A+ are listed for $69.99 each but one of my local hobby shops had them for $20.99 each so I bought everyone they had. I've been very happy with them. Others that have flown my 59 could also tell the difference between them and the Hitec servos.

They are also a little bigger than the Hitec servos so you will need to open the holes in the plane. It's only a very small small amount.

New rudder is here! Will install tomorrow and if this heat doesn't kill me should be able to get her back in the air.

Did some more prop testing today. Props used APC 15x6 15x7 15x8 and XOAR 15x7. I was not expecting the Xoar to be the worst of the 4 but at only 900+ watts its was. The APC 15x8 was my favorite one of the bunch with the best feel and also pushed out 1300 watts. The APC 15x7 would be my second choice.

Set up was on a Motorlfly 3620-750, Castle Ice Lite 100, 4cell 4000mah 40c

Interesting. I have the exact same motor/ESC/Batt combo. I started flying mine on an APC 15x8 but felt it was too fast. It would zoom out of a manuever with the least little blip of throttle. I was having trouble flying slow, gentle stuff. I have since tried a Xoar 15x7 and am currently using a Xoar 15x6 - It really settled it down. I still have plenty of "get out of trouble" power and it takes off in about a foot, it seems, so overall power is still not an issue. It just seems like softer, more user friendly power.

I'm still a newb, though, so take that all with a grain of salt. I may start ratcheting up the prop again as I get better. I really like the look of that wood prop, though, so I'd probably stick with the Xoar.

Thanks for that! very much appreciated!

So you think these will be better than Hitec 7245MH? I've noticed the MKS don't quite have as much torque, you're not experiencing any blow-back are you?

Thanks
