Got an orange ordered, and I have a Reaper 45, Hacker 80A ESC with a CC BEC, AR6200, 4S4000 pack, and HS225MG's to go in it.

Can't wait, this will make my 7th 3DHS plane.
Love that Kool-Aid.

How much does a GR45 weight? Seems like that might be a little light for the 59, no?

Shouldn't be. 66 Amps on a 4s pack should be right in the ball park. for a 5# plane.

Chuck

I'm thinking balance not the actual work load. I know people that have to shove the battery all the way to the front on the 55" Edge to get it to balance with the GR45 on the nose. With that thought in mind I'm thinking you will have a hard time getting the plane within CG limits.

Yeah, I know, it weighs 195g compared to the Power 46 at 295g. But I can add weight if needed.
We'll see.

Does'nt the 59" have the same setup as the 71", meaning the cowling is open all the way to the nose. If so should be real easy to set the batts all the way forward for those that want to go with a real lite setup. Just pondering motor choices.
