I only had this issue one day in one area i'm not sure if it was interference or what but it definately geeked out on me twice with two different batteries but has not happened since of course i was near the airport maybe signal interference i don't fly there anymore on a different note i hear a lot of you guys talkin about gettin bigger motors for more power did any of you think about gettin a smaller one with more kv say 1200-1400 with say a 60-70 amp esc runnin on 14.8 4s 2200-2600 mah with a 9-10 inch prop should be about twice as quick as a 650-800 kv with an 11-12 inch prop but i don't know still untested theory but as i get more money i WILL be tryin different set-ups and now that i found a hobby shop within an hour of my house no more 20 dollar shipping no more 6-7 day waiting periods no more damaged products the sky is mine and the birds better watch out now at least the ones in southern geogia lol yep hodges hobbies above americus ga if you look up mac hodges on you tube he specialized in giant multi engines i think his b-17 has like a 32 foot wingspan anyhow you can check him out on youtube

I have tried a lot of different prop and batteries. If you want true P-51 Scale flying use a parkzone extra 300 10.5x9 with dubro spinner on 3s. If you want unscale fast can climb very quickly and unscale go with 11x7....or 12x6 on 4s. To me the most scale is the 100.5x9 with 4s....it would be like a scale P-51 with WEP turned on.

Hi Frank, don't know what Sammy gets, but I run the same setup and had one of our local Provincial Police radar it for me, 107kph (66mph), straight line, no wind.

Glen

I was going to guess 60-70mph so it's nice to see a radar verified pass...

Ok man luigirox what I used was a long piece of clear-tape I just folded it n slid it n between the back-plate on the spinner n the body n wrapped it around a couple of times then got a good hold on it.when I started tightenin it down it seemed to grab hold. After swappin out the prop a few times don't have that problem anymore it just tightens right up now oh yeah by the way the stock spinners are junk I have heard changin the chinese screws with usa screws will fix the wobble.I don't know about that but changing to a 2 blade certainly will!I have found the 12x6 two blade to be the best suited to the stock setup although I didn't try 11x7 two blade. But as far as I know EVERY SINGLE ONE HAS UNBALANCED SPINNER but a small annoyance cheap n easy to fix.

Ok ok I think I got it the recipe for lightenin up your wallet lol!1st we need 1 Turnigy G10 1200kv brushless outrunner 2nd we need 1 Turnigy plush 60 amp esc 3rd we need 1 set of 11x7 and 1 set of 10x5 e props and 1 2400-2600 mah 14.8 4s no need for two plane probably won't survive maiden flight lol but at some point I gotta try it!Suppose to pull 2140 g of thrust at 53a using 11.1 and 11x5.5 prop it pulls 1800g of thrust at 41a using 11.1 10x5 motor weighs 140g esc 60g weight should be about perfect the whole setup is less than 80 bucks. Seems like overkill THAT'S JUST MY POINT!!!!! for me rc flyin is for FUN so why not be silly sometimes lol I think I may have a brain affliction that causes me to obsess over things like this well at least that's what my girlfriend says lol from what I can tell you really don't even need 4s for these numbers apparently they used 11.1 in testing! So we might need a 8 or 9 inch prop not sure . I know reinforcements will be a must for the airframe. In case anyone is wondering I saw a really fast phase 3 a while back .I think it was a spitfire but it was so fast I couldn't even tell you.! Only thing I know for sure it was a prop plane of warbird appearance that flew 100+ mph .A dream was born lol

One more thing I noticed that the retracts hang lower than the wing when up is this normal seems like it would cause drag. How would you adjust this?
