I still have a fuselage for this airplane if anyone is interested. I am also selling the DPS unit that I installed in this jet as well.

I don't have a pic on my phone right now. Picture your kit coming to your door minus the wings stabs and verticals and thats what it looks like. The reason I have it is because of the cracks in the paint when it arrived. I think I told you about this when I first got the airframe and had to get a new one.

Wow Dadamen, that is an awesome job on the F-18 on the gear, gear doors and cockpit! The gear doors are awesome, looks like a lot of work. What are you going to use to power your F-18? Keep us posted on your progress, can't wait to see more. Regards, Frank

For the moment, i think combo, HET 9305-700 EDF fan unit +Typhoon 700-68 brushless motor 1680 kv, so in lipo 8S;
Speed controller castle creation 120HV2 already in stock; But no order; i think that the f18 RTF should have a weight of 4.00 Kg (141 Oz); I take all ideas on the combo motor+ edf;Thanks; I will post here with some photos and video following my progress Best regards; |

Hello everybody,
I did some modifications concerning the rear fuselage, here is the link of my buildthread (lot of selfexplaining pics): http://www.rc-network.de/forum/showt...von-HET/page10 For maiden flight it will be a Midifan with a Tenshock 2230-10 at 6S. Static thrust with a small not up to date 3700mAh 30C Lipo was (installed with exhaust diameter of 75mm) 2,6 kg. I decided to cancel the retracts and launch it via bungee and dolly. Michael |

CG problem
Bungee-launch was perfect (AUW 3.3kg, trust/weight ratio better than 1:1), but elevator control was not possible. After a rodeo with stall (and successfull recovery) i hit the trees.....no video, sorry
