MiG 15 Tail mod

Hey "the Don"
I wanted to ask if I needed to set up and measure the tailplane incidence or do you think it is possible to eyeball the cut line based on your pics. What have you other builders done?

Also, is the anhedral mod worth doing?

Rise off ground. She will move across the ground until she gets enough speed to become airborne. Its pretty cool. Towards the end of the life of mine i was doing touch and goes off the asfault and even off Water!

That's what I thought you were saying but without any gear I'd hate to trash the plane. What about performance in the air? Is there any benefits there to adding anhedral?

I can only say that mine was an outstanding little jet but beware that even the slightest incorrect angled launch (too high AOA) and she will bite you (but she is tough). Not too sure of any other benefits other than asthetics. Definetly do the thrust tube, it makes a big difference. I actually want another one of these since it was so nice. I flew mine with 1300 4s Sky's but had to mod the battery tray to get them to fit. I posted pic's of this mod in the old thread and I did the same to my saber since they were built simutaneously about two years ago now. My Saber is still around but finally burned up an ESC so she is just sitting.
