The glider is the Slingsby Hengist
The ugly French job is the SNCASE Grognard circa 1950.
Probably not competitive to the Mig or Sabre

136 is the Convair XFY-1, the only turboprop VTO fighter design to demonstrate the full vertical takeoff, convert to horizontal flight and vertical landing cycle. Mystery 137

This one never saw active duty but was ground breaking at the time it was created. Giving a hint with the color pic. Thought the twin side-by-side canopies were very cool looking.

That looks like more pictures of the XB-43. From the front, it could be the XB-42 but I see what looks to be a pair of air intakes high on the fuselage sides which would make this the XB-43. The first few Douglas C-74 Globemasters also had the "bug-eye" canopies. While its a nice low drag, high outside visibility set-up, it was discontinued due to poor communications between pilot and co-pilot.

(Parasol monoplane from 1920's) looks like a Thomas Morse MB-7.
