Nice Twin is similar to the Fairchild AT-21 Gunner

The A3D Skywarrior was pretty successful. So successful, in fact, that the Air Force pressed for a derivative, which became the B-66 Destroyer.

Also, there is an XB-43 in the Smithsonian's Gerber/Silver Hill facility. It was used as an engine test bed. Neat place, Silver Hill. They encourage visitors to talk about what they know about the planes on display. When we went, we had an F105 crew chief, who told us a lot about the bird.

Makes history come alive. The Australian War museum Trelor centre in Canberra used to have floor tours and the info gain was excellent. Things like manufacturing probs with Mosquito's falling apart due to the tropics effect on glues and the fun off bailing out into a stream of hot glycol from that small hatch.

If anyone gets to the Lib restoration in Werribee, they have former crew members involved who can tell great stories.

The A7 seems to have similar lines to the Skywarrior or is it just me? lol
