Futaba 7c 2.4 + EzUHF on a 5Ah 3S LiPo, will that work?
I would like all my ground stuff to work on two parallel 3s batteries. It's fine for the goggles, video receiver and video recorder.
But will the Futaba 7C Radio Tx also work on a 3S lipo? I want 5Ah because any less runs out too quickly with the EzUHF. And somehow it takes ages to charge the radio, always overnight! The lipo I can charge in less than an hour.
Do you need a voltage regulator? The lipo comes from 12.6V which is a bit much.. But I see HobbyKing recommending a particular 3S lipo for 'any' Futaba Tx..
I know this is a regular question here but I can't find a definite answer for my particular situation...

Batteries_Lithium Polymer - Do Not Use 3S Lipo in Futaba Transmitters
However, can be used with a cheap voltage "regulator" as described in second thread above or
