Got it! Came in 2 hours ago! This kit looks great. Very sturdy too. Now, gotta get a few servos.

Who ever is eyeing this glider down better get it while the gettings good. Again, this is a nice plane.

I don't know about master. I would not follow my line on the slope....LOL...At least not when there is a video camera straped to my plane.

Here is the latest video. Enjoy. There is a treat half way through.

Phoenix II Slope'n Fun (4 min 42 sec)

G-LO, I am happy to hear you received your airplane. I hope you have as much fun as I am having with the Phoenix

Wow Tim! Great video. Flying in formation with the sea birds was amazing.
Still waiting patiently for mine to arrive. Hope I get good enough to have the guts to fly over water.

Chris or Tim, can you "show" in a picture by default (or land mark) where the c.g is? I realize that the instructions says 75 to 80mm. But for the guys in the future who would buy this nice glider, they can always come back to that no-brainer post. If one of you can do that, that would be mighty nice...

Thanks*

I don't have a picture on hand, but I made it to be around the rear seam of the filler block that makes up the wing tube socket.

Oh, one other question. Is it a good idea to glue the wings or not? Can I trust the tight fit after several flights? Thanks guys.

The main wings work great for me as is, and I've been flying it regularly. Transporting the plane with a one piece wing may prove problematic because of the size. I just chose to glue the tail surfaces together for my own peace of mind.

I have yet to glue the wings. The airplane has not given me a concern

For anyone that will be at Joe Nall next week, I'll have the Phoenix II with me if you would like to check it out in person.
