Blackburn Buccaneer for twin 76mm EDF

Hi
This is my latest build it's just about ready for its maiden so I think what I'll do is post all the pictures up to where it is now and then reply to any comments if there are any, I know there's some Bucc builders out there because I got ticked off for not posting this build.
1350mm span
10.5lb AUW
2 x 76mm Lander fans (9.5lbs thrust)
Dolly take off

I could probably make you a set of parts if you're really interested Dave, its a fair bit of Liteply and balsa.
As for colours, I nearly did RAF but maybe I'll leave that to you

Classic model construction, beautifully executed. Lovely. Well done!

All wood intake ducting. Right on.

Any plans for retracts? I can't image having to belly flop that beauty.

Do you know how much weight the glassing added?

Would have loved retracts and a scale air brake but left them both off because i was concerned about the weight, this one uses a dolly for take off and lands on its belly, our flying patch is grass so a few strips of duct tape as a skid should be fine, when it wears through I just stick another bit on.
I used 3oz glass cloth on the fus and 1oz on the wings, I don't think it added more than a few ounces, maybe 6-8 or so at the most, I didn't think to measure as I was looking at the airframe weight as a whole, but now you mention it I wish I had.
A friend of mine had a Schreiner models F86 with a schubeler fan that used to collapse the intake duct completely shut on 2/3 throttle so I always try to build mine strong, hence the ply construction and all the reinforcing.
