Working on getting this model kitted

Jerome sent me his hull master and plans. I'm working on getting this beautiful tugboat kitted. Got pretty much all the hull stuff made, next to make is the superstructure.

I'm not sure how far I'll go in respect to prefabrication for the kit. I can mold a hull completely finished, even with the gunwale inner gusset details, but its expensive tooling and I'm not sure I can sell enough to justify it. So it might end up being a regular fiberglass hull, fittings and plans sort of deal...

Thoughts?

Where did you get the "sign makers foam" and what is the proper (brand) name for it?
The hull/s look great!

A few items in detail.

An example of the usefulness of carbon fiber extrusions on a scale boat. The stern hawser bar uses carbon fiber tubes and stainless cross bar. The carbon tube bonds tenaciously to other plastics and to itself with CA. A light sanding of the carbon in the joint area is needed for the best bond.

If I made this part from all metal, I would need to find a way to mechanically fasten it to the deck for actual use.

Finishing the deck, inside gunwale details and superstructure is next

Rick, She's looking great!
And everyone who has thanked me. I only did the original. But thanks none the less.
Rick, aka Silent hunter is doing all of what you see here. Hopefully there will be hundreds of these models sailing in a few years.

Thanks Jerome.

LOL, That will be the day.

An interesting but unrelated item. Small brushless tunnel thruster, 24 mm ID.
This is the master and it has a mock up "motor" installed. Uses the same motor as my 1/96 SDM Z drives.
